Jenny made her international debut in 2015 and helped Ireland to team bronze at the Young Rider Nations’ Cup at the Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF) in Florida before she went one better by capturing silver in the Young Rider Grand Prix.

In 2015 following an impressive season at qualifying shows the length and breadth of the country, Jenny was one of the stand-out performers at the Discover Ireland Dublin Horse Show where she won four and five-year-old qualifier events on her mounts Sea Topblue and Mighty Mavis respectively, triumphed in the Young Rider National Championship 2015 and rounded off a truly amazing week by winning the Cruising Six-Year- Old National Championship on a horse called Beech Hill Lucia.

Reflecting on her memorable week at the RDS Jenny said, “My success was certainly beyond our expectations for the week. We didn’t expect to do so well. “Winning the six-year-old ranks as the major achievement because Lanaken is something you would be working towards all year. “I have never been to Lanaken so I suppose it’s a milestone in my career. “I have been to Dublin on four or five occasions before but this week was by far the most successful.”

It’s a case of so far so very good for Jenny who's interest in riding horses and the opportunity to work at Bourns Sports Horses was simply too good to turn down.
